I am originally from Malaysia, I completed my medical degree from University of Leicester, UK in 2001. I obtained my membership with The Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008. I previously worked as a GP in Cambridgeshire for 6 years, I was involved in GP registrar training for the Eastern Deanery and medical students from Cambridge University. After almost 19 years in the Ole’ Blighty, my husband and I decided to migrate down under in 2014 and have been part of the Swansea Medical Centre team since. I am a fellow with the RACGP. My special interests are preventative, women’s and children’s health and education. When I’m not hard at work, I love spending time with my boys (husband & son) enjoying trips out exploring Lake Mac’s and surrounding areas, and a bit of gardening as well as serious attempts to keep my plants alive (just about).

I grew up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and studied at the University of Sydney, graduating in 1989. For part of my training, I spent time in regional NSW, including Taree, to where my wife and I eventually relocated, and ran a solo practice there for around ten years.

In 2003 we moved to the Newcastle area to be closer to family. Since this time, I have worked at several practices, ranging from inner city Newcastle to the western shores of Lake Macquarie in Toronto, and, most recently, to the beautiful blue waters of Swansea.

I enjoy all aspects of General Practice, as after transitioning from the fast pace of Emergency Medicine, I certainly appreciated the ability to take the time to connect with, and to get to know, my patients.

Out of work hours I enjoy music production, travel, experiencing my Ukrainian culture, watching movies, and spending time with my family.
