DOCTOR'S BIO

I attained my MBBS from the prestigious Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India in 2001. I worked as an ENT resident till 2004 before moving to Australia in 2005.

I completed my Australian Medical Council exam in 2006 and later worked at Concord, Canterbury, Blacktown and Westmead Children’s Hospitals. I obtained a Diploma in Child Health through the University of Sydney in 2008. I attained my FRACGP in 2011. I also completed my Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine in 2013.

My primary interests are in children’s health; ear, nose and throat conditions; and aged care. I also take a keen interest in skin checks and excising suspicious lesions as needed.

I think general practice is not just treating a patient but getting to know the person as a whole. Providing support for a patient – not just when you are sick – but when you come in and say, “I am lost, Doc. I don’t know what to do”. It is the trust that my patients come in with that I enjoy and respect. It gives me immense pleasure seeing my patients get on with life, with whatever support I could provide.

I can sometimes be slow with my consults, as I try to give my 100% to every patient, without compromise.

I like music, dance and spending time with my kids.
